The official launch of CODEX was a major success, bringing together representatives from all universities in the network, alongside delegate from the British Council.

Hosted as part of the CUMULUS Annual Conference 2018 in Wuxi, the launch provided a dynamic platform for academic exchange. A team of supervisors from Plymouth University attended the event, where they met with prospective PhD candidates for informal discussions and a PhD speed-dating session, giving students the opportunity to share their research ideas and receive immediate feedback.

The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation underscored the importance of CODEX as a growing international research initiative, setting the stage for future joint projects and academic partnerships.
