In alignment with the national digital economy development strategy of this new era, the School of Digital Arts focuses on nurturing digital art design talents who possess an international perspective, interdisciplinary thinking, and innovative practical skills. The School offers a comprehensive education system that includes undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. Benchmarking againstthe forefront of disciplinary development and interdisciplinary talent training, the School prioritizes the integration of art and technology, the synergy of teaching and experimentation, and the collaboration between academia and industry. The mission is to create an educational model that integrates art and science, education and research, as well as industry and academia.

Furthermore, there is a doctoral program in Design, along with academic master’s programs in Art Studies and Design Studies, and professional master’s programs in Design. Specialized fields of study include Digital Media Art Theory, Digital Art and Cross-Media Design, Digital Media Art, Virtual Reality and Interactive Art, Public Art and Cross-Media Design, and Digital Display and Interactive Technology.

The School also hosts several laboratories and practice platforms, including the co-established National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Digital Media Art, the Jiangsu Virtual Reality Art Practice Education Center, the co-established Jiangsu Provincial Laboratory forChinese Culture Inheritance and Digital Intelligence Innovation in Higher Education in Philosophy and Social Sciences, and the co-established Digital Intelligence and Technological Innovation Center of the Nanjing University of the Arts.
